Accetable Use Policy (AUP)

1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) outlines the terms and conditions under which customers may use the services provided by CloudWorks 360. By using our services, you agree to comply with this AUP and any other applicable policies. The purpose of this AUP is to ensure that our services are used in a lawful and responsible manner, protecting the interests of all our customers and the broader internet community.

 

2. Prohibited Activities

To maintain the integrity and security of our services, the following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Illegal Activities: Using CloudWorks 360 services to engage in any activity that is unlawful, including but not limited to the distribution of pirated software, hacking, and the dissemination of illegal content.
  • Abuse of Resources: Excessive use of bandwidth, CPU, or any other system resource that may impair the performance of our services for other customers. This includes, but is not limited to, running scripts or processes that consume excessive amounts of system resources.
  • Spam and Unsolicited Emails: Sending unsolicited bulk emails (spam), including commercial advertising, informational announcements, charity requests, petitions for signatures, or any other form of unauthorized communication.
  • Security Violations: Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any system, network, or account, or engaging in activities that disrupt or compromise the security of any system, including our own services.
  • Distribution of Malware: Creating, distributing, or facilitating the spread of viruses, worms, trojan horses, or other malicious software.
  • Copyright Infringement: Hosting, distributing, or otherwise making available any material that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.

 

3. Enforcement

CloudWorks 360 reserves the right to monitor and investigate any activities that we believe may violate this AUP. If we determine that a customer is in violation of this AUP, we may take any of the following actions:

  • Warning: Issuing a warning to the customer, providing an opportunity to correct the violation.
  • Service Suspension: Temporarily suspending the customer's services if the violation is severe or not corrected promptly.
  • Service Termination: Permanently terminating the customer's services in the event of a serious or repeated violation.
  • Legal Action: Pursuing legal remedies, including reporting the violation to law enforcement authorities.

We reserve the right to take any necessary action, at our sole discretion, to protect our network, customers, and the broader internet community.

 

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their use of CloudWorks 360 services complies with this AUP. This includes:

  • Account Security: Maintaining the security of account credentials and promptly notifying us of any unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
  • Content Management: Ensuring that any content hosted or transmitted through our services complies with all applicable laws and this AUP.
  • Third-Party Use: Ensuring that any third parties using your account (e.g., clients, employees) adhere to this AUP.

 

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, we encourage you to report it to us immediately. Reports can be made by contacting our support team through the CW360 Portal or by emailing us at hello@cloudworks360.com.au. Please provide as much detail as possible to assist us in our investigation.

 

6. Amendments to the AUP

CloudWorks 360 reserves the right to update or modify this AUP at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
